InterContinental Bangkok Reopens
InterContinental Bangkok proudly announces its reopening following an extensive, year-long renovation project. The hotel’s parent company, IHG Hotels and Resorts initiated the renovation project. With a multimillion-dollar investment, the property has undergone a remarkable transformation. The hotel now offers guests an enhanced experience of modern sophistication blended with Thai heritage.
InterContinental Bangkok has emerged as a stunning retreat after temporarily closing its doors in May 2022. The 381 guestrooms have been meticulously renovated. They feature exquisite designs that pay homage to the magnificent palaces, cultural attractions, and the iconic skyline of Bangkok. Every detail has been thoughtfully curated to immerse guests in the beauty and charm of the city.
Among the notable additions is the reimagined rooftop pool, providing panoramic views of Bangkok. Guests can bask in the sun while indulging in the tranquillity and splendour that the city has to offer. Furthermore, the interior design throughout the hotel showcases artistic elements inspired by the rich heritage of Bangkok. Thus, creating a visually captivating ambience.
New Dining Options
One of the highlights of InterContinental Bangkok’s reopening is the introduction of SoCal. SoCal is a new restaurant concept that brings the vibrant flavours of California to Bangkok. SoCal boasts an extensive selection of over 50 California wines. These wines perfectly complement a culinary experience that showcases a variety of fresh and sustainable seasonal produce. Those seeking a taste of authentic Bangkok street markets can head to Espresso. Espresso is an all-day dining restaurant that offers live cooking stations that exude the essence of local cuisine.
Aside from the delightful dining options, the hotel features several exceptional amenities. Guests can rejuvenate their senses at the spa, maintain their fitness routine at the state-of-the-art fitness center, or host memorable events in any of the 19 versatile event spaces available. The Grand Ballroom, with its grandeur and capacity to accommodate up to 1,000 guests, sets the stage for extraordinary gatherings.
